Destination Codes
Destination codes are used to identify competitors or alternate properties where a client has decided to book when a business block status turns to Cancelled or Lost. The destination code is entered on the Cancel tab on the Business Block screen.
To add destination codes select Configuration>Reservations>Business Blocks>Destination Codes. The Destination Codes screen appears.
The Destination Codes screen lists the destination codes that have already been configured.
From the Destination Codes screen you may add new destination codes and edit existing destination codes. To add a new destination code, select the New button. To edit an existing destination code, highlight your choice and select the Edit button. The Destination Codes - New or Destination Codes - Edit screen appears.
Provide the following information and select the OK button:
Code. Enter the code that will identify the client's destination. (When editing an existing destination code, you may not modify the code.)
Description. Enter a description for the code such as a hotel or alternate property name.
Display Seq. Enter a number that determines the position of the code in displays.
