This graphic shows how Connector for Microsoft Outlook queries Messaging Server, Calendar Server, Address Book, and the Corporate Directory information and then converts IMAP, SMTP, WCAP, WABP, and LDAP protocols to MAPI properties so that end users can access Unified Communications Suite back-end servers with Microsoft Outlook. Conversely, MAP I information is sent to Connector for Microsoft Outlook and is converted back to standard protocols for the Unified Communications Suite servers to read.
