Upgrade considerations

• A baseline that is valid in a previous release is not necessarily valid after an upgrade. For example, if you upgrade from a previous release, the study could contain RefNames that you could create in an earlier release but that you cannot create and are not valid in the current release. A study that contains such RefNames does not pass validation.
• Deployment packages created in Central Designer releases prior to 2.1 are not compatible with this release. After you upgrade to this release, create new deployment packages from the baselines created in releases prior to 2.1.
• You cannot download deployment packages that are created in Central Designer release 2.1.
