Late-breaking information about installation of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System products is provided in the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Readme. Review this information thoroughly before installing EPM System products.
Because Oracle Hyperion Business Rules is no longer available, if you are applying the maintenance release or upgrading to Release 220.127.116.11, and if you have been using Business Rules in an earlier release, you must migrate to Calculation Manager rules in Release 18.104.22.168. See “Business Rules Maintenance Release and Upgrade Installation Prerequisites” in the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide for prerequisites you must complete before you install and configure in order to successfully migrate business rules to Calculation Manager rules.

19663386 -- Using Lifecycle Management to import a rule that uses an IF/Else in a formula , the Else may not show in the formula after import.
19866239 -- Validating a rule with a run time prompt variable using a Smart List, does not produce a drop down to select a member from the Smart List.
19959228, 19971423 -- You may receive a default process error when opening or closing the Application Library.
20032709 -- Using Calculation Manager in non-English, the function selector may not display all of the functions. If you manually type the function into the rule, the rule may not validate.
14851468 -- When you import Financial Management Visual Basic script to graphical components, the method OpenDataUnitSorted may not import correctly.
14851185 -- The Financial Management method OpenDataUnitSorted may not deploy correctly.
14383744 -- When you try to validate a Financial Management script object, validation may fail.
12766158 -- A Financial Management script component's disabled property may not work.
11719731 -- A Financial Management business rule's deployment may fail if you defined a function that is used in a component level conditional.
13525497 -- If you are editing a Financial Management business rule with a data range loop in script mode, when you return to editing in graphical mode, the data range loop's definition may be empty.
The following are the noteworthy known issues of this release:
19466572 -- If you edit a script component, add a member range component after the script component, and then drag the script component into the member range component, the changes to the script may not be saved.
18779427 -- In Internet Explorer 10, using the new object icon may not display the new object. To work around this, click on the System View, and the new object will display.
17670292 -- In a script rule, when you are creating a new object by using Actions on the tool bar menu, a message stating the new object is created and opened for editing may continue to show after you click OK. Continue to click OK until the message is no longer shown, and the new object will open. To work around this, create the new object from the System View, and the message will no longer be shown after you click OK for the first time.
17851179 -- When you right-click an object to access menus in Calculation Manager, the menus may not be displayed, and Internet Explorer menus may be displayed instead. For example, when you are using the debug feature, you must click to the right of the breakpoint to access the right-click menus. To work around this, if the browser’s right-click menu is shown instead of Calculation Manager’s, try clicking to the right of the item, and Calculation Manager’s menu should display.
17922118 -- When you drag an object into the Script Editor, the text may be pasted at the beginning instead of the current cursor position in the script. To work around this, copy the text from the first line, and paste it into the required position.
18003547 -- When you set the browser language for Internet Explorer 9 or 10 to Arabic (ar-ae), which is a bidirectional language, the expand icons, which display as pluses (that is, +) may not be displayed in the System View of Calculation Manager, and it may be difficult to expand the nodes in the System View.
18050764 -- Oracle recommends that you do not open more than 10 tabs within Calculation Manager for performance and memory optimization. If you open more than 10 tabs, errors may be generated.
18086809 -- When the browser language is set to Arabic (ar-ae), any functions with members are displayed as ("FUNCTION("MEMBER@ For example: ("IDESCENDANT("Q1@ should be displayed as @IDESCENDANT("Q1").
18958860 -- When you save a rule that is in script with a different name using Save As, the saved as rule may not display, or may not display correctly. To work around this, click on the System View tab, and if the saved as rule is shown, close the rule and reopen it.
To use the Rule and Template Designer, you must have Flash Player version 10 or higher installed.
As a best practice for the Analysis feature, enter 5000 or less for "Enter the number of entries to display". If you specify more than 5000 for "Enter the number of entries to display," the expected results and the response time depend on the available memory of the server, and the browser and analysis information may not be correct or may be incomplete.
13604731 -- Before migrating Business Rules databases to this release, back up or export the database tables. When you migrate to this release, Business Rules tables may be removed, which may cause loss of business rules and data from Business Rules.
7133648 -- If you create a graphical business rule with components, you can convert from graphical to script mode and from script to graphical mode, but if you remove any comments in script mode, you cannot convert from script to graphical.
13688105 - If a Business Rules rule uses Oracle Hyperion Business Rules functions (such as @Descendants_Including, @Ancestors_Including, @Parents_Including, and so on), and if you migrate the rule to Oracle Hyperion Calculation Manager, the rule may not validate or launch. To work around this, use Planning or Essbase functions instead of Business Rules functions.
