Oracle Smart View for Office is no longer installed with the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installer. To download and install the latest release of Oracle Smart View for Office, go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/smart-view-for-office/overview/index.html.

If you are using JRE 6, the JavaFX 2.2.5 runtime for JDK6 runtime must be installed when launching the Administration Services console from a web browser, otherwise nonfunctional pop-ups are displayed and Administration Services does not launch.
The JavaFX 2.2.5 runtime for JDK6 can be downloaded from Oracle.
This section includes defects fixed in Release 126.96.36.199.000. To review the list of defects fixed between earlier releases, use the Defects Fixed Finder. This tool enables you to identify the products you own and your current implementation release. With a single click, the tool quickly produces a customized report of fixed-defect descriptions with their associated platforms and patch numbers. This tool is available here:
19644730 -- Right clicking on a user and selecting disable or enable causes the groups for the selected user to be deleted.
19008993 -- Dimension builds fail with rules files saved to the file system using Administration Services Console.
18840727 -- If you open a user table, sort on User Type, select a user and then select edit, a different name is displayed in the username field.
6574337 -- The @ISATTRIBUTE and @ISMBRWITHATTR calc functions are missing from the Administration Services calc script editor.
18291424 -- The @IRREX calc function is missing from the Administration Services calc script editor.
18401936 -- The Attributes window in the Member Properties dialog box does not display all associated attribute dimensions.
18424372 -- Selecting an empty outline in the calc script editor results in an incorrect error message. The message returned is "Error occurred setting the server application active.” It should, instead indicate that the outline is empty.
18491498 -- In the Edit Member Properties dialog box, on the Associations tab, selecting Add range returns a blank tree structure.
18808398 -- If you select to edit user properties, select user type and then right click on a user other than the admin user, the information for the admin user is displayed.
19774932 -- A data load rules file created in Administration Services Console 188.8.131.52.500 cannot be used by MAXL.
20124033 -- When using non-English Administration Services Console, the console may become unresponsive when accessing the Editor Settings dialog box.
19298249 -- The command, MEANINGLESSTEXT is missing from Report Script Editor.
19298217 -- The command, OUTMEANINGLESS is missing from Report Script Editor.
18760380 -- Searching for valid attributes in Attribute Viewer does not return results.
18759880 -- The list of applications may not be displayed in Location Alias Editor.
18758690 -- Adding a version 184.108.40.206 Oracle Essbase Server from a version 220.127.116.11.500 Administration Services Console fails and returns the following error: "Your session is not connected to the Essbase agent/server."
18676335 -- Displaying 400 users in Administration Services Console may take longer than expected.
18546568 -- During data loads in Administration Services, when selecting a rules file or a data file, the data cannot be sorted by "last modified."
18538795 -- In Administrative Services Web Console, loading data from the file system fails and results in the following error: “Failed to create client directory to write error file.”
18363474 -- In Outline Editor, after you save an outline to Essbase Server and select the Properties tab, no contents are displayed.
18318809 -- When Essbase is installed in BISHIPHOME, the Shared Services security mode option in Edit Server Properties dialog in Administration Services Console is selected.
18079367 -- For some MDX queries, there is excessive space in the output window before results are displayed. This can give the impression that the query did not return any results.
The following are the noteworthy known issues of this release.
16670757, 16628180 -- If you are using EAS Console to connect to a Essbase server running on non-English Linux platform, or a non-English Windows server with Essbase Rapid installation, some error messages may be garbled.
Workaround: Replace the original localized essbase.mdb file with the English essbase.mdb file to get the English error messages in the Administration Services Console:

When you cut and paste code snippets from a PDF file, some characters can be lost during the paste operation, making the code snippet invalid. Workaround: Cut and paste from the HTML version of the document.
When an Essbase server is disconnected, options to create, edit, view, and generate Essbase server logs are greyed out.
After adding an Oracle Essbase server using a cluster name, Oracle Hyperion Provider Services must be running in order to execute a Data Preview on databases on that server.
You cannot copy and past Boolean attribute dimensions in Outline Editor.
In the Administration Services Online Help, in the topic “Database Properties Window—Modifications Tab”, under Related Commands, the getdbstats ESSCMD is listed. The correct related command is getdbinfo.
