  • 19181547 - Internet Explorer 10 Web browser is supported for Hyperion Performance Scorecard.

  • 18764234 - In Scorecard Performance report and Measure Performance report the data columns are overlapping, if the length of the data is larger than the correspondent column width.

  • 18508190 - Columns overlapping on Scorecard and Report tables. The following areas in the Browser View have been fixed:

    • Scorecard tab of Employee (columns fixed: Measure, Result, and Target);

    • Scorecard Performance report (column fixed: Scorecard);

    • Measure Performance report (columns fixed: Measure, Result, and Target);

    • Employee Profiles report (columns fixed: Employee Name, Title, Email, Department, and Manager).

  • 18063587 - Employee responsibilities "Transfer From" dialog is not responding.

  • 17961494 – The child nodes are not displaying on the Scorecard Performance Report.

  • 17960614 – If you move the scroll bar up and down in the scorecard performance report then the report table shrinks.

  • 17911125 - The HPS Alert is sending e-mail with HTML tags like text.

  • 17872317 - Synchronize User Account with Employee does not detect missing employee.

  • 17852362 - Unable to remove inheritance option when editing an alert.

  • 17536567- Acknowledge option should only be applicable for "Meet Criteria" or "Inside Range" re-alerting option.

  • 17476674 - Basic user who does not have administrator or designer security role is unable to subscribe to a public alert.

  • 17470015 - Basic user who does not have administrator or designer security role is unable to create status-based alerts.

  • 17464737 - Re-alerting does not work after exiting range or stopped meeting criteria. When using the "Inside range and changed" or "Meet criteria and changed" re-alerting option does not work, after exiting the range or criteria no longer being met, re-alerting produces a null pointer exception when the value comes back to inside the range or meeting the criteria again.

  • 17361348 - There is an issue in the User Interface with "Scorecard" tab of Strategy Map Scorecard. When displaying Scorecard's Scorecard Tab in composite view mode, the Scorecard table continuously shrinks when moving the divider splitter or resizing window.

  • 17361315 – There is an issue in the User Interface with the "Trending Tables" tab of Strategy Map Scorecard. When displaying Trending Table Tab from Scorecard Tab in composite view mode, Trending Table Tab should not have composite view mode.

  • 17347587 - Re-alertings are not working correctly for Measure in Status (symbol), Initiative in Status (textual), Initiative % in Range, and Measure Result in Range.

  • 17334970 – There is an issue in the User Interface with the "Chart" tab of Strategy Map Scorecard when displaying Chart Tab from Scorecard Tab in composite view mode. Chart Tab should not have composite view mode. Also, when displaying Chart Tab directly the chart window is not sized correctly.

  • 17301958 - While entering an employee information, user cannot type the character "@" for contact e-mail information, it only works with copy and paste.

  • 17301936 - In HPS browser, Measures do not appear ordered if you select Group by Domain; if you select "No Grouping" then the measures appear in order.

  • 17281180 - After editing employee information and when you try to save, then the server becomes unresponsive. If an employee has thousands of responsibilities (i.e. annotation creator, result collector, target setter) the saving process takes a very long time and results in the server becoming unresponsive. In addition, if the employee has complex cascaded scorecard items (i.e. cascaded scorecards, composite measures), the circular formula reference check takes a very long time.

    This fix optimizes the responsibilities processing and allows the circular check to be disabled by adding the following entry into HPSConfig.properties: hyperion.hps.formula_check_enabled=false

    Restart HPSWebReports server to pick up this entry.

  • 16996281 - Problem in indirectly provision user through Shared Services Native Group when the group is recreated with the same name.

    Code changes have been made to better handle user/group deletion, recreation using identical name, renaming as well as handling identical user account name from different user directories. Assign Security page is now showing user/group name with their directory name (for example: user1@msad, user1@native).

  • 16459702- After scrolling down the left pane, then clicking on the left pane, results in the page scrolling back to the top.

Known Issues

The following are the noteworthy known issues of this release.

  • 14142422 - If you are using the multi valued target, then there may be few alignment issues within the reports displayed.

  • 10399027 - Due to the preferences setting changes, you are unable to perform Export Measure Performance options.

  • 9665927 - On the Navigation Tree, if you drag the map element to left selection pane, then the Map Element are removed from Strategy Map tree.

  • 7171918 - You cannot use the equal operation in formulas that you define for performance indicator ranges that assess measure templates.

  • 6956515 - You cannot use Hebrew characters in dimension names. Doing so will prevent you from generating the star scheme used to create Essbase databases.

  • 11804670 - Unable to add Performance Scorecard content to WORKSPACE.

  • 9073159 - Unable to search the artifacts within the Model Security and Application Model.

  • 7650524 - Users assigned to groups in Oracle Hyperion Shared Services may not receive email alerts as expected. As a workaround, do not provision user indirectly via group.

Tips and Troubleshooting

  • To apply custom security roles created in Performance Scorecard to a large number of users in Shared Services, create the users in Shared Services and then select the Synchronize with Shared Services option in Performance Scorecard to automatically assign security roles and employee records to the users.

  • To deploy the Alerter to a Web application server cluster, use a single instance of Alerter to avoid repeated and unwanted e-mail notifications.

  • Do not use restricted names or characters when naming databases, dimensions, members, aliases, or dimension measure templates. For a list of illegal names and characters, see the Oracle Hyperion Performance Scorecard, Fusion Edition Release 11.1.2.0.00 Administrator's Guide.

  • Back up all attachments for initiatives, employee profiles, and notes, in addition to status symbols before uninstalling or updating your application server. See the Oracle Hyperion Performance Scorecard, Fusion Edition Release 11.1.2.0.00 Administrator's Guide.

  • Specify an application framework before creating Strategy Trees, Accountability maps, and Cause and Effect maps since this determines the default map element hierarchy and ordering.

  • Do not delete a performance indicator to which measure or scorecard ranges are attached.

  • Avoid having multiple browser sessions open simultaneously on the same computer.

  • Exit all pages by clicking Save to avoid losing data.
