This document includes important, late-breaking information about this release of Oracle's Hyperion Strategic Finance. Review this Readme thoroughly before installing Oracle Hyperion Strategic Finance.

If you are applying the maintenance release from Release 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199, or 188.8.131.52, use the Cumulative Feature Overview tool to review the list of new features added between those releases. This tool enables you to identify your current products, your current release version, and your target implementation release version. With a single click, the tool quickly produces a customized set of high-level descriptions of the product features developed between your current and target releases. This tool is available here:
HFM and FDM integration is no longer supported.

Oracle Smart View for Office is no longer installed with the EPM System installer. To download and install the latest release of Smart View, go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/smart-view-for-office/overview/index.html
If you are upgrading to Strategic Finance Release 184.108.40.206 from releases prior to 220.127.116.11.00, you must run a conversion utility to convert your Strategic Finance entity files to 18.104.22.168. Patches containing this utility will be provided for all supported prior releases. This conversion will convert Entities, archives, translation files. For additional information, see the Enterprise Performance Management System Release 22.214.171.124 Installation and Configuration Guide.

This section includes defects fixed in Release 126.96.36.199.000. To review the list of defects fixed between earlier releases, use the Defects Fixed Finder This tool enables you to identify the products you own and your current implementation release. With a single click, the tool quickly produces a customized report of fixed-defect descriptions with their associated platforms and patch numbers. This tool is available here:
16185849 - The freestyle report displays the historical average inputs correctly. However, the forecast methods is set to constant for all periods.
16205131 - The account numbers are now displayed in the accounts column rather than Description column.
14763416 - The Time properties feature is now available in SmartView. You can view the Time properties from the Analysis grouping label, select Time, and then select Time properties.
14756412 - Setting up time period wizard for the smallest period week is working.
14701682 - You are now able to switch between account view and reports.
16208185 - Some strings such as: “TargetEntities”, and “Use 360 Day Interest Calculation” were not translated and only display in English.
The following are the noteworthy known issues of this release.
20000747 - HSFIMPORTEXPORT utilities can only be run on the Server machine.
16280652 - The “Save Template” and “Extended Setup” dialog boxes were not translated and only display in English.
16237274 - Several Time Period Setup Wizard buttons such as: Help, Back, Next, Finish, and Cancel were not translated and only display in English.
16232392 - The password feature for local entity files is deprecated. This feature is not available in Smart View.
20245372 - Users may encounter 404 File not found error, while accessing Manage Users and Groups via Shared Services, it may not work because it depends on the users configuration.
20359140 - While upgrading from previous releases to 188.8.131.52.000, the default port for HSF server is sometimes set to 7751 instead of the standard 7750.
