Selecting Items in a Table

You can select one or more items in a table (for example, in a table listing search results):

to select one item, click the item in the table to highlight it
to select separate items that are not grouped together in the table, use Ctrl-click to selectively highlight each item
to select items that are grouped together in the table in a continuous block, click the first or last item in the group, then use Shift-Click to select the other item; both these items and all the items listed in between them are now highlighted.
