Defining a custom group

1. On the report palette, click a column heading.
2. Select Edit Data > Define Custom Groups.
3. Complete the Define Custom Groups page:
   1. Select the customization type: Ranges (for any data type) or Individual values (for string data only).
   2. Identify the group categories using the Create range template (ranges) or the New group template (individual values).
   3. Optionally, apply a new item name to the custom group.
4. Click OK.
