Use the Overlay Editor Ribbon


After completing this topic, you will be able to use the Overlay Editor ribbon.


Steps:

  1. View the tools on the Overlay Editor ribbon.

     

    Click the Overlay Editor tab.

  2. You can hide the action areas and bubbles in the slides.

     

    Click the Show/Hide Bubble button.

  3. The action areas and bubbles are hidden for all frames.

  4. The first frame contains overlay objects that mask the View tab and the Worldwide Sporting Goods address.

     

    You want to copy the overlay objects to all of the other frames to mask the same areas.

  5. We have selected the blank rectangle for you.

    Step 5

  6. Add the Home ribbon to the selection.

     

    Press the [Ctrl] key and click the Home ribbon overlay.

  7. Copy both overlay objects to all frames.

     

    Click the Copy To All Frames button.

    Click the Slide 3 thumbnail.

  9. The two overlays were also copied to the blank frame. You can delete overlay objects if they are copied to frames where they should not appear.

  10. We have selected the two overlay objects for you. Delete the objects from the frame.

     

    Press [Delete].

    Click the Slide 4 thumbnail.

  12. The Home tab image masks the View tab and the blank rectangle masks the Worldwide Sporting Goods address.
