The Assessments property allows you create an association between a module or section and a course, even if it is not included in the course. By setting an assessment as a property of the module or section, the assessment can then be selected as a pre-assessment or post-assessment in the Professional edition.

 

Note: The Assessments property only applies to content deployed in a Knowledge Path in the Professional edition of the Knowledge Center.


ProcedureTo associate an assessment to a module or section:

  1. Display the Properties toolpane.
     
  2. From the Library or Outline Editor, select the document(s) to which you want to associate an assessment.
     
    You can select multiple documents using the standard Windows selection keys (CTRL+click and SHIFT+click).
     
  3. In the General category, click the Assessments cell then click Browse.
     
  4. In the Associated Assessments for Knowledge Center dialog box, click Add associated assessment Add associated assessment.
     
  5. In the Add Assessments dialog box, navigate to the desired assessment and click Open.
     
  6. Click OK.

Note: To remove the association between an assessment and a module or section, open the Associated Assessments for Knowledge Center dialog box, select the assessment you want to remove, and click the  Remove associated assessment from this list or press DELETE.
