Topic Defaults

After completing this topic, you will be able to set General Content defaults.

Steps:

1. Open the Options dialog box.

    

   Click the Tools menu.

2. Click the Options command.

   Step 2

3. Click the Topic category under Content Defaults.

   Step 3

4. Change the frame delay to 4.0.

    

   Click the Frame delay list button to view the available settings.

   Step 4

5. You can select 0 or skip, 5.0, 10.0 or Infinite from the list. To set another value, you must type it in the field.

    

   Enter the desired information into the Frame delay field. Enter "4.0".

   Step 5

6. You can change the screen resolution by selecting a common resolution from the list or by typing a resolution.

   Step 6

7. Change the screen resolution to 800 x 600.

    

   Click the Screen resolution list button.

   Step 7

8. Click 1280 x 800.

   Step 8

9. Apply the changes.

    

   Click the Apply button.

   Step 9

10. Restore the defaults on the General page.

     

    Click the Restore Defaults button.

    Step 10

11. The screen resolution and frame delay settings are reset to the default values.

    Step 11

12. Change the required percentage for passing a topic played in Know It? mode to 85%.

     

    Double-click in the Required percentage field.

    Step 12

13. Enter the desired information into the % field. Enter "85".

    Step 13

14. Apply the change.

     

    Click the Apply button.
