Set Question Remediation


After completing this topic, you will be able to set the remediation for a question.


Steps:

  1. The default remediation setting of Incorrect, only shows remediation when the user selects the incorrect answer.

  2. Change the remediation for the question.

     

    Click in the Remediation field.

  3. Click the List button.

  4. Change the remediation to User Asks.

     

    Click the User Asks list item.

  5. Notice that only the Show Answer link appears. Display the answer.

     

    Click the Show Answer link.

  6. The remediation text appears.

  7. Change the remediation for the question.

     

    Click in the Remediation field.

  9. Click the Results Only list item.

  10. Take the question again.

     

    Click the Take question again button.

  11. Select an incorrect response.

     

    Click the outline option.

  13. Only the "Incorrect" prompt appears. The correct answer and the remediation text are both suppressed.

  14. Change the remediation for the question.

     

    Click in the Remediation field.

  16. Click the Always list item.

  17. All the remediation information appears for an incorrect answer. Take the question again and answer correctly.

     

    Click the Take question again button.

  18. Click the All of the above option.

  20. With Always remediation, the remediation text appears for correct answers also.

  21. Click the Edit button to return to edit mode.
