Steps:
Add a Branch path to the Decision frame.
Click the Insert menu.
Step 1Click the Decision Path command.
Step 2Click the Branch button.
Step 3Enter a name for the new branch path. Enter "Text Document".
Step 4Click the OK button.
Step 5The Recorder opens.
Before recording the Decision path, you should set up the application at the screen where the Decision frame offers a choice.
We have opened the Customer.rtf file in WordPad and opened the Save As dialog box for you.
Step 6Activate the Save As dialog box.
Click the Save As dialog box title bar.
Step 7You will record the steps to save the document in a text document format.
Step 8Press [PrintScreen] to start the recording.
Step 9Perform the first action, which is to select the Save as type list button.
Click the Save as type list button.
Step 10Press [PrintScreen] to record the action.
Step 11Perform the second action, which is to select the Text Document type.
Click the Text Document list item.
Step 12Press [PrintScreen] to record the action.
Step 13Click the Save button.
Step 14Press [PrintScreen] to record the action.
Step 15Perform the next action, which is to select the Yes button.
Click the Yes button.
Step 16Press [PrintScreen] to record the action.
Step 17End the recording.
Click the Finish button.
Step 18The Recorder closes. The Topic Editor displays the new path in the Decision frame and the new branch path added to the frame structure.
Step 19After adding a new path, check the new frames for the desired action areas and object names.
Click the first F frame in the new path.
Step 20The decision path includes the steps to save the file as a text document.
