After completing this topic, you will be able to reset Player options.
Steps:
Open the Publishing Wizard using the File menu.
Click the File menu.
Step 1Click the Publish command.
Step 2Publish to the default publishing destination.
Click the Next > button.
Step 3Click the Publish entire outline option.
Step 4Click the Next > button.
Step 5When you publish a different content selection to a destination folder that already contains published content, you are asked if you wish to replace the existing content. If you continue, the results depend on the type of format you are publishing.
Note: If you did not want to replace the published content, you would click the Cancel button and publish to another publishing destination.
Step 6Publish the content to the same publishing destination and replace the old content.
Click the Continue button.
Step 7Reset the Player options to use the settings in the Options dialog box.
Click the Use Options Settings button.
Step 8Notice in the Content options that the Skin was changed to None.
Step 9Notice that the Marquee color changed back to Red and the Enable skipping in Try It! mode is enabled.
Step 10Click the Training Guide option to deselect it.
Step 11Click the Instructor Manual option to deselect it.
Step 12Publish the selected content.
Click the Publish button.
Step 13When the publishing is complete, view the player.
Click the C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Documents\User Productivity Kit\Publishing Content\PlayerPackage\Play.exe link.
Step 14To save time, we have launched the Opening a Document topic in Try It! mode for you.
Notice that the Marquee color has been reset to the default Red color and the Gray skin no longer appears. The Introduction frame is not displayed as that option was set in the Options dialog box and resetting the publishing options does not affect those settings.
Step 15Advance to the next step by pressing the Enter key.
Press [Enter].
Step 16Notice that the topic has advanced to the next step as the Enable skipping in Try It! mode option was re-enabled.
Step 17Close the Opening a document window.
Click the Close button.
Step 18Close the Player window.
Click the Close button.
Step 19Click Finish to close the Publishing Complete dialog box.
Click the Finish button.
