Link a URL

After completing this topic, you will be able to link a URL as a concept in the Outline Editor.

Steps:

1. Select the document to which you want to link a URL as a concept.

    

   Click the Using Print Preview topic.

   Step 1

2. Click the Create link button in the Concept pane.

   Step 2

3. In the Link to pane, click URL.

   Step 3

4. Enter the URL into the Address field. Enter "http://www.w3.org".

   Step 4

5. If you do not know the full path to the URL, you can enter a base URL, click the Go button, and then follow links when the URL appears in the preview window below.

   Step 5

6. Click the Go button  to preview the web site.

   Step 6

7. Click the OK button.

   Step 7

8. The URL is linked and appears in the Concept pane.

   Step 8
