Undo/Redo Multiple Actions


After completing this topic, you will be able to undo multiple actions in the Topic Editor.


Steps:

  1. Delete the current frame, which is the Explanation frame.

     

    Click the Delete menu.

  2. Click the Frames command.

  3. Click the Start (S) frame.

  4. Select all the Start frame text.

     

    Right-click in the bubble text pane.

  5. Click the Select All command.

  6. Delete the selected text in the bubble text pane.

     

    Click the Delete text button.

  7. Move to another frame.

     

    Click the first F frame.

  8. Save your changes.

     

    Click the Save button.

  9. In this example, you deleted a Frame, deleted Bubble text, moved to another frame, and saved the topic.

     

    Use Undo to restore the deleted text and frame.

  10. Undo your last action.

     

    Click the Edit menu.

  11. Click the Undo Bubble text command.

  12. The Topic Editor automatically navigates to the frame where the undo action occurs.

     

    Notice the text restored to the bubble text pane.

  13. Undo the deletion of the Explanation frame.

     

    Click the Edit menu.

  14. Click the Undo Delete Frames command.

  15. Notice that the Explanation frame was restored to the Frame Structure toolpane.
