After completing this topic, you will be able to format a bulleted list.
Steps:
Select the three bullets under Word Wrap, from No wrap to Wrap to ruler.
Click in the No wrap text.
Step 1Press the [Shift] key and click in the Wrap to ruler text.
Step 2Increase the indent for the bullets.
Click the Increase Indent button.
Step 3Notice the different bullets used for the levels.
Step 4Increase the indent for the four bullets under Measurement units, from Inches to Picas.
Click in the Inches text.
Step 5Press the [Shift] key and click in the Picas text.
Step 6Click the Increase Indent button.
Step 7Change the bullet used for the Level 1 bullets using the context menu.
Right-click in the Word Wrap field.
Step 8Click the Bulleted List Properties link.
Step 9Change the bullet style to Square.
Click the Type list.
Step 10Click the Square list item.
Step 11Click the OK button.
Step 12Notice that both Level 1 bullets changed.
Step 13Use the Context menu to change the bullet type of the sub-level bullets under Word Wrap.
Right-click in the Wrap to window text.
Step 14Click the Bulleted List Properties link.
Step 15Change the bullet type to a Disc.
Click the Type list.
Step 16Click the Disc list item.
Step 17Click the OK button.
Step 18Notice that only the bullets under Word Wrap change. Each level under a parent level is treated independently.
To save time we will change the bullets under Measurement units to Disc for you.
Step 19To make the list easier to read, add 12 points of spacing Before the Measurement units bullet.
Click in the Measurement units text.
Step 20Click the Spacing button.
Step 21Enter the desired information into the Before: field. Enter

Step 23Click in an item in the Word Wrap bulleted list and view the bullet styles in the Styles list.
Click in the Wrap to window text.

Step 25The Standard style sheet includes several styles that use custom bullet images. Apply the Presentation star style to the bulleted list.
Click the Presentation star 3 levels - Bulleted List list item.
Step 26The 3-level styles apply different size fonts and different size bullet images for each level.
Step 27Apply the One size star style to the bulleted list.
Click the Styles button.
Step 28Click the One size star - Bulleted List list item.
Step 29Notice the one star size treats all levels the same.
Step 30Clear the style using the toolbar button.
Click the Clear Style button.
