When you install SmartHelp and then restart Internet Explorer, a message about the SmartHelp add-on appears. Select Enable and then restart Internet Explorer again to enable SmartHelp.
In most cases, after you restart the browser the new toolbar button appears automatically. However, if the user has customized the Internet Explorer toolbar, the new button may not appear. In this case, the toolbar button is added to the choices in the Customize Toolbar dialog box, and it appears if the toolbar is reset.
Depending on the version of Internet Explorer you are using, the entire toolbar may not display. In this case the SmartHelp button is located in the dropdown list area for more buttons.
Firefox
In most cases, after you restart the browser the new toolbar button appears automatically. However, in some cases the SmartHelp toolbar button must be explicitly added to the toolbar using the toolbar’s Customize option.
SmartHelp can become temporarily disabled if Firefox is just about to upgrade to a newer browser version. If SmartHelp is not automatically re-enabled during the next two browser restarts, you must re-enable SmartHelp manually from the Tools menu.
