The Web Page Editor allows you to create HTML pages that include formatted text, graphics, and sound, as well as hyperlinks to other documents, images, or web sites. The content you create in the editor looks similar to what the user sees after the document is published.

You can use any web page that you create in the Developer and link it to a module, section, or topic document as conceptual or introductory material, to an assessment to provide directions on how to answer questions, or to any topic frame as supplemental transactional information.

Note: Content created outside of the Developer must be linked as a package.

The Web Page Editor provides a full range of formatting capabilities such as:

• Text formatting including bold, italics, underline, and font selection
   
• Paragraph alignment including left, right, centered, and justified
   
• Tables
   
• Bulleted and numbered lists
   
• Graphics support
   
• Hyperlinks to other documents, web pages, web sites
   
• Sound recording and editing

When editing an HTML page stored inside a package, additional capabilities are available, such as: 

• Fields
   
• Buttons and checkboxes
   
• View the source HTML

You can use the Outline and Topic Editors to link a web page to documents in the outline or individual frames in a topic.
