SmartHelp can be disabled in the selected browser using the appropriate Tools menu option for disabling the browser add-on.
If you want to remove SmartHelp entirely, you can locate the SmartHelp entry in the Programs and Features section of the Control Panel and then click Uninstall. You will need administrator rights to perform the uninstall process.
