The Publishing Wizard steps you through the publishing process. There are several screens of options, each of which is described in more detail in the following sections.
When the publishing process is finished, you have a number of options on the final screen:
Your content was published to the following location: This link opens a Windows Explorer browser window displaying the contents of the folder where the content was published.
Your local player can be viewed using:For Player packages, this link launches the Player window and displays the content. If you publish to document formats only, this option does not display. In addition, if an error occurs during publishing, this option becomes View activity log. The log helps you to determine what caused the publishing error.
Your player can be accessed in Knowledge Center at: For a Player published to the Knowledge Center, this link launches the Player in the default browser.
You can manage the Knowledge Center deployment using Manager: For a Player published to the Knowledge Center, this link launches the Knowledge Center Manager in your default browser.
This player can be used for In-Application Support if your application is configured to use theplayer: For Player packages, this link opens the IAS Information window with instructions for configuring applications to use this player for In-Application Support.
Finish: This button closes the Publishing Wizard without opening any windows or displaying content.
