Print It! Options for Player Publishing


After completing this topic, you will be able to change Print It! publishing options.


Steps:

  1. Publish the Creating and Opening Documents section for the Player.

  2. Publish the selected content using the File menu.

     

    Click the File menu.

  3. Click the Publish command.

    Step 3

  4. Publish to the default publishing destination.

     

    Click the Next > button.

    Step 4

  5. Continue setting the publishing options.

     

    Click the Next > button.

  6. Click the Next > button.

    Step 6

  7. Click the Continue button.

    Step 7

  8. Choose the desired deployment option.

     

    In this example, click the Player and LMS option.

  9. Change the Print It! format to a System Process Document.

     

    Click the Format for Print It! mode list.

  10. Click the System Process list item.

    Step 10

  11. Exclude all topic screenshots from the Print It! document.

     

    Click the Include Screenshot list.

  12. Click the None list item.

  13. We have scrolled down to display the rest of the Print It! options.

     

    Notice that the default Output format for Print It! is HTML Web Page.

  14. Publish the Player deployment.

     

    Click the Publish button.

  15. The Publishing Process begins publishing the Player Package.

  16. When the publishing is complete, click the link to launch the local player.

     

    Click the C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Documents\User Productivity Kit\Publishing Content\PlayerPackage\Play.exe link.

  17. Click the Changing the Page Setup topic.

  18. View the Print It! document for the topic.

     

    Click the Print It! button.

  19. Click the scroll bar to display the Procedure page.

  20. Notice that the procedure does not include screenshots. Close the Print It! tab.

     

    Click the Close button.

  21. Close the Player window.

     

    Click the Close button.

  22. Click Finish to close the Publishing Complete dialog box.

     

    Click the Finish button.
