After completing this topic, you will be able to rename a role and update role assignments.
Steps:
The Clerk and Supply Manager roles are assigned to the Using Print Preview topic.
Step 1Switch to the master role list.
Click the Roles.en tab.
Step 2Rename the Clerk role.
Double-click Clerk in the master role list to select the text.
Step 3Enter the desired information into the Role field. Enter "Account Clerk".
Step 4Press [Enter].
Step 5Save the master role list.
Click the Save button.
Step 6You are given the choice to save the master role list and update the content or not update the content.
It is best to allow the Developer to automatically update your content; otherwise you may have to update each document manually.
Step 7Click the OK button to save the master role list and update the content.
Step 8You are notified when the rename process completes. You can use the View activity log link to see which documents changed.
Note: If a Partial Role Rename message appears, use the View activity log link to see the reason.
Step 9Close the Role Rename Complete dialog box.
Click the OK button.
Step 10Switch to the WordPad Training outline to view the renamed role.
Click the WordPad Training tab.
Step 11Notice the role rename in the Properties toolpane for the Using Print Preview topic.
