Format Numbered Styles


After completing this topic, you will be able to format numbered styles in the style sheet.


Steps:

  1. Add a numbered list style.

     

    Click the Add Style button.

  2. Point to the List menu.

  3. Click the Numbered List button.

  4. Enter the desired information into the Style name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Number List 1"
    .

  5. Press [Enter].

  6. Change the list type to Upper Roman.

     

    Click the List type button.

  7. Click the Upper Roman - I, II, III, IV etc. list item.

  8. Add 6 points of before spacing to the numbered list.

     

    Click the Spacing button.

  9. Enter the desired information into the Before field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "6"
    .

  10. Click the OK button.

  11. Change the format for the Level 2 numbers.

     

    Click the List level button.

  12. Click the Level 2 list item.

    Step 12
  13. Change the List type to Lower Roman.

     

    Click the List type button.

  14. Click the Lower Roman - i, ii, iii, iv etc. list item.
