Use the Style Inspector

After completing this topic, you will be able to use the Style Inspector to view applied and inherited styles and formatting.

Steps:

1. Click in the Orientation heading.

2. Notice the attributes for the selected text in the Style Inspector.

   Step 2

3. Click in the first paragraph under the Orientation heading.

    

   Click in the Orientation determines how the text is oriented on a rectangular page. text.

4. The Style Inspector lists the attributes inherited from the Default Document Body and Default Paragraph styles.

   Step 4

5. In the Portrait paragraph, click in the text to which a Text style was applied.

    

   Click in the shorter text.

   Step 5

6. Notice the categories in the Style Inspector.

   Step 6
