After completing this topic, you will be able to use Set Associated Content to set the associations for assessment questions.
Steps:
We have opened the Assessment - Document Basics assessment. Notice that the Orientation question is associated with the Document Basics module.
Step 1Close the assessment.
Click the Close button.
Step 2The Changing the Page Setup topic is a better association for the Orientation question.
Click the Changing the Page Setup topic.
Step 3Click the Set Associated Content button.
Step 4Click the Orientation checkbox.
Step 5Click the OK button.
Step 6You are warned that you are changing the association for this question. View the activity log.
Click the View activity log link.
Step 7Close the activity log.
Click the Close button.
Step 8Click the OK button.
Step 9The Orientation question appears in the Questions Associated pane.
Step 10Click the Saving a Document as a New File topic.
Step 11We are associating the Saving a Document and Text Documents questions in the assessment with the Saving a Document as a New File topic.
Step 12Click the OK button.
Step 13Select the assessment's parent document.
Click the Document Basics module.
Step 14The Set Associated Content dialog box shows that the assessment contains only one question not associated with any content.
We are associating the question with the module itself.
Step 15The Question count in both the Assessment and Questions Associated panes shows 9 questions. All the questions are now associated with content.
Note: Publishing content linked to an assessment that contains questions with no associations, produces a warning in the final Publishing Wizard step. However, the content still publishes.
Step 16After completing this topic, you are able to use Set Associated Content to set the associations for assessment questions.
