After completing this topic, you will be able to use the publishing template toolbar to insert bookmarks.
Steps:
View the print template toolbar.
Click the Add-Ins tab.
Step 1Add the Document ID bookmark to the Properties table.
Click in the second column of the Document ID row.
Step 2Click the Details menu on the template toolbar.
Step 3Click the Document ID command.
Step 4The DocumentID bookmark appears in the table.
Step 5Notice the ForEachFrame_Begin bookmark. This is the beginning of a repeating bookmark.
Frames steps normally appear in the Step/Actions table. You want to display the steps in a list rather than a table.
You are going to delete the all of the bookmarks between the ForEachFrame_Begin bookmark for the lead-in frame to the ForEachFrame_End bookmark at the end of the table.
Step 6Select the entire ForEachFrame bookmark, including the Begin and End tags.
Click to the left of the ForEachFrame_Begin tag.
Step 7Scroll down to the ForEachFrame_End tag.
Click the Vertical scrollbar.
Step 8Press the [Shift] key and click at the end of the ForEachFrame_End tag, after the paragraph mark.
Step 9The entire bookmark section is selected.
Press [Delete] to delete the bookmark.
Step 10New bookmarks are inserted at the insertion point position.
The insertion point is below the Activity static text, which is where we want to insert the new frames List of Actions Steps bookmark.
Step 11Insert the frames list of actions steps bookmark.
Click the Outline menu on the template toolbar.
Step 12Point to the Frames command.
Step 13Click the List of Action Steps command.
Step 14You can choose the action text style and the included components.
Step 15We have excluded the Context IDs and Decision and Alternative Action and Path text.
Step 16Click the OK button.
Step 17The new List of Action Steps bookmark includes the "Procedure" static text, we will remove the original static text and rename the "Procedure" text to "Activity".
Step 18The new ForEachFrame bookmarks appears in the template. Notice the ForEachFrame_Begin_5 tag that inserts the bookmarks for the lead-in (Start) frame.
Step 19Notice that the bookmark also added the ForEachFrame_Begin_7 tag for frames other than the lead-in (Start) frame.
Step 20Notice that the bookmark also added the ForEachFrame_End_7 tag.
Step 21Check the syntax of your bookmark changes.
Click Check Syntax.
Step 22Your syntax is correct.
Click the OK button.
