If you are upgrading to Oracle FS Path Manager (FSPM) from an earlier version of APM or FSPM, perform the following steps to ensure a successful installation.
Review the Oracle FS Path Manager Release Notes to determine if you need to update the operating system software before installing a new version of FSPM.
- Uninstall a previous version of APM.
Enter this command:
swremove AXIOMPM
- Uninstall a previous version of FSPM.
Enter this command:
swremove FSPM
- Upgrade the operating system to the required software level. Follow the operating system instructions for installing any required upgrades or patches.
- Install FSPM 4 software following the information provided in Install the FSPM Software in this document.
