Upgrade From Earlier Versions of APM or FSPM

If you are upgrading to Oracle FS Path Manager (FSPM) from an earlier version of Axiom Path Manager (APM) or FSPM, perform the following steps to ensure a successful installation.

Refer to the Oracle FS Path Manager Release Notes to determine if you need to update the operating system software before installing a new version of FSPM.

If you determine the need to upgrade from earlier versions of APM or FSPM, complete the following steps.

To uninstall a previous version of APM, enter the following command:
```
pkgrm axiompm
```
To uninstall a previous version of FSPM, enter the following command:
```
pkgrm ORCLfspm
```
Upgrade the operating system to the required software level. Follow the operating system instructions for installing any required upgrades or patches.
Install FSPM software following the information provided in this document.
