FSPM Architecture

Oracle FS Path Manager (FSPM) manages multipathing and communicates with the Oracle FS System on a control path, which is separate from the data path. LUN access is managed along the data path.

The following figure illustrates how the FSPM software installed on a SAN host interacts with an Oracle FS System. The following table describes meanings of the lines and colors used in the figure.
