The OVN drivers in the host often fail to return information about vHBAs in the host while there is a problem in the OVN fabric. This indicates to the FSPM that the vHBAs have been removed from the host, so FSPM removes them from the definition of the host in the Oracle FS System, which in turn causes all LUNs to be unmapped from the vHBAs. When things recover and OVN again reports the vHBAs present in the host, FSPM adds the vHBA ports back into the host definition and the LUNs are mapped again. However, the Oracle Fabric Interconnect does not automatically make the LUNs visible to the host again.
