Administrators have specific privileges on the Oracle FS System that are based on their assigned role for their account.
You can create multiple accounts in an Oracle FS System. More accounts are useful, for example, if you want to delegate responsibilities. For example, you might choose to create the following accounts:
One or more administration accounts with read-only privileges. In this way, managers can monitor the system but they cannot change configuration details. Assign these accounts to the Monitor role.
Modify account attributes. For example, change the password or disable the account other than the Primary system administrator account.
Change the security settings of accounts.
Delete obsolete accounts.
At times, you might need to modify the attributes of other accounts. A Primary system administrator and users who are assigned to the Administrator 1 role can modify their own account or the accounts of another administrator.
Some changes take effect immediately. For example, a login session is terminated when you disable or delete the login account.
Other changes affect the account the next time an individual or a client logs in. For example, when you modify a password for an account or modify the global session time-out value, those changes take affect the next time a session is started.
