Controller Ports Overview Page

Navigation: System > Global Settings > Controller Ports

Lists the topology properties of the network ports for each of the Oracle FS System Controllers. An administrator can manage the properties of a Controller from this page.

Name

Identifies the information about the Controller. The column includes the following information:

Controller name
Adapter slot number
Adapter port number

Status

Identifies the HBA connection status.

Valid states:

Normal
Connected
Not connected

Port Type

Indicates the type of HBA.

Valid types:

Ethernet
Fibre Channel (FC)
Internet SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) (iSCSI)
Serial Attached SCSI (SAS)

Address

Identifies the unique address of the Oracle FS System Controller port on the network.

Network Link

Negotiated Link Speed

Indicates the port transmission speed in Gigabits each second.

Medium Type

Identifies the types of small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver interface devices used for data path traffic between the customer network switches and the Controllers.

Valid SFP interface types:

Copper
Optical
Long Wave Optical
Short Wave Optical
