Displays the status and health of the Pilots, Controllers, and Drive Enclosures that are installed on the Oracle FS System.

If a Replication Engine (Oracle MaxRep for SAN or Oracle MaxRep for NAS) is configured for the Oracle FS System, information is also displayed about the Replication Engine.

If a uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is configured for the Oracle FS System, information is also displayed about the UPS.

Pilots

The Pilots table lists the following information:

Pilot

Displays the operational status of the Pilot.

Mode
Displays the current operational mode of the Pilot.
Active

Indicates which server currently functions as the active Pilot and performs all requested configuration tasks.

Standby

Indicates which server currently functions as the standby Pilot and only performs configuration tasks during a failover.

Status
Displays the status of a Pilot.

A Normal status requires no action.

 alternate image text  (Warning)

A Warning status requires action.

 alternate image text  (Critical)

A Critical status requires action.

Controllers

The Controllers table lists the following information:

Controller Name

Lists the names of hardware components.

Service Type

Lists the type of Controller.

Status
Identifies the status of the Controller.

A Normal status requires no action.

A Warning status requires action.

 alternate image text  (Critical)

A Critical status requires action.

Replication Engines

Service Status

Identifies the health of the processes running on the Replication Engine.

Agent Status

Identifies the communication status of the Oracle MaxRep for SAN agents registered with the Oracle FS System.

Name

Identifies the name of the Replication Engine.

IP Address

Identifies the IP address of the Replication Engine or high availability Replication Engine cluster.

UPSs

The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) table lists the following information:

Name

Identifies the name assigned to the external UPS device.

Power Source
Identifies the source of the UPS power. Valid sources:
  • AC (alternating current)

  • Battery

  • Unknown

Battery Status
Identifies the status of the UPS batteries. Valid values:
  • Normal

  • Warning

  • Critical

  • Unknown

Drive Enclosures

The Drive Enclosures table lists the following information:

Drive Enclosure Name

Lists the names of hardware components.

Status

A Normal status requires no action.

A Warning status requires action.

A Critical status requires action.

Event Log

The Event Log table lists the following information:

Severity
Displays the severity level of entries in the Oracle FS System event log. Possible severity levels:
Informational

Requires no action for events that are information only.

Warning

Requires no immediate action for minor conditions that you can address at your convenience.

Critical

Requires prompt action to prevent system failures or offline conditions.

Number of Events

The number of events that have occurred on the Oracle FS System.

Event Notification

The Event Notification table lists the following information:

Number of Recipients

Indicates the total number of email recipients.

Disabled Email Subscriptions

Indicates the number of event notifications that are currently disabled.

Enabled Email Subscriptions

Indicates the number of event notifications that are currently enabled.

Number of Monitored system Events

Indicates the number of monitored events.

Refresh

Updates the page with current data.
