Navigation: System > Global Settings > Controller Ports > Actions > View Port Settings > iSCSI

Displays the Controller iSCSI port properties.

Port Information

Controller Name

Identifies the name of the Controller.

Slot

Identifies the Controller HBA slot number.

Port

Identifies the HBA port number.

Status

Identifies the HBA connection status.

Valid states:
  • Connected

  • Not connected

  • Offline

Type

Indicates the type of HBA.

Negotiated Speed

Indicates the port transmission speed in Gigabits each second.

Maximum Speed

Indicates the maximum speed of the port.

iSCSI Information

MAC Address

Identifies the unique identifier of the HBA port.

Portal Group Tag

Identifies the iSCSI target portal group tag that is assigned to the port.

Link Up

Indicates the iSCSI port link up status.

Valid states:
  • No

  • Yes

iSNS Client Status

Indicates the iSNS client status for the iSCSI port.

Valid states:
  • Access lost

  • Established

  • In progress

  • Unknown

MTU Bytes Minimum

Indicates the minimum number of bytes supported by the maximum transmission unit (MTU).

MTU Bytes Maximum

Indicates the maximum number of bytes supported by the maximum transmission unit (MTU).

iSCSI Settings

IP Address Assignment

Identifies the configuration method that the Oracle FS System uses to obtain the IP address of the HBA port.

Valid methods:
DHCP

Indicates that the DHCP server automatically assigns the IP addresses to network clients.

Static

Indicates that a permanent IP address is assigned to the network client.

IP Address

Identifies the IP address that is assigned to the Oracle FS System.

Netmask

Identifies the netmask that is assigned to the Oracle FS System.

Gateway

Identifies the gateway IP address that is assigned to the Oracle FS System.

TCP Port

Identifies the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port number that is configured on the iSCSI port.

VLAN Enabled

Signifies whether a virtual LAN (VLAN) has been defined for the iSCSI network.

VLAN ID

Identifies the group portal tag number.

MTU

Identifies the maximum transmission unit (MTU) value for the Controller node.

SFP Information

Status

Identifies the small form-factor pluggable (SFP) device port status.

Valid SFP device states:
  • Enabled 1 Gb

  • Enabled 2 Gb

  • Enabled 4 Gb

  • Enabled 8 Gb

  • Enabled 10 Gb

  • Enabled 16 Gb

  • No SFP

  • Incorrect Speed

  • Read Error

  • Incorrect Type

  • Loss of Sync

  • Other

Connection Type

Identifies the types of SFP transceiver interface devices used for data path traffic between the customer network switches and the Controllers.

Valid SFP interface types:
  • Copper
  • Optical
  • Long Wave Optical
  • Short Wave Optical
Vendor

Identifies the SFP device manufacturer.

Part Number

Identifies the SFP device part number.

Revision

Identifies the SFP device revision number.
