Use this option when the SAN host is running the HP-UX operating system. When compatibility mode option is enabled, the system uses an alternative method to present LUNs on the SAN host. This alternative method is compatible with HP-UX. When this option is enabled, you might not have a LUN visible to the host as LUN number 0. HP-UX compatibility mode enables the full range of LUN numbers (other than 0) to be used with HP-UX operating systems. You can verify the current host mappings from the Flash Storage Path Manager tab.
