You can add logical volumes to an existing volume group as your system environment changes.
As you assign LUNs, filesystems, and possibly other volume groups to a selected volume group, Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) provides you with a preview of your selected change in the Volume Groups overview page.
- Navigate to .
- Select .
- From the Volumes tab, select the LUN or filesystem to add to the volume group.
- From the Volume Group list, select the volume group in which you want to place the LUN or filesystem.
You can repeat Step 3 and Step 4 to add more volumes to the volume group.
- Click OK.
