You can create Clone LUNs from an existing LUN or from a Clone LUN.
After the clone is created, you can change the priority level and other properties of the clone. When creating a Clone LUN, make sure that enough repository space exists for the clone. The system stores in the clone repository only the changes that are made to the source volume or to the clone.
- Navigate to .
- Select the LUN that you want to clone.
- Select .
- Enter a new, unique name for the Clone LUN.
- (Optional) Make any necessary changes to the QoS properties.
- (Optional) Select the Mapping tab and map the Clone LUN to a host entry.
- (Optional) Select the Data Protection tab and create a data protection schedule.
- Click OK.
The name of the new Clone LUN appears on the LUN overview page.
