You can create a connection to a UPS device that is connected to the Oracle FS System to allow you to see the battery status, the communication status, and the properties of the UPS. Up to four UPS devices can be configured for the system.
Navigate to System > Hardware > UPSs.
Select Actions > Create UPS.
Do not use the community strings "public" or "private" if the UPS device allows configuration of more secure strings.
Enter the information in the fields that are provided.
