Delete a LUN

When a LUN is longer needed, you can delete it.

1. Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
2. Select the LUN that you want to delete.
3. Select Actions > Delete.
   Result:The system displays the Delete LUN dialog. The Delete LUN dialog lists the LUN and the affected clones that the system identifies for deletion.
   Note: The system displays the option, Delete LUNs and existing host mappings when the LUN you are deleting contains host mappings. Deleting a LUN with host mappings causes each of those hosts to lose access to the LUN and clones.
4. To acknowledge that you want to delete the LUN, along with any clones and host mappings, select the option Delete LUNs and existing host mappings.
5. Click OK.
