Enable the Data Path of a LUN

Enabling the data path to a LUN restores the communication between the mapped SAN host and the volume. When the data path to a LUN has been disabled, you can provide the ability of a SAN host to access that LUN using the host mappings already established.

The LUN overview page identifies the Host Access status of a disabled LUN as Inactive.

Navigate to SAN > Storage > LUNs.
Select the LUN that you want to enable.
Select Actions > Enable Data Path.
To enable the data path, click OK.

On the LUN overview page, the Host Access status of the volume changes from Inactive to the original status.
