The Chassis ID is the Drive Enclosure Name as displayed in Drive Enclosures summary. Chassis IDs are unique, numeric identifiers that are displayed on the Controllers and the Drive Enclosures. You can use Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) to modify the chassis IDs.

- Select a Drive Enclosure.

Result:The Modify Chassis ID dialog is displayed.
- From the Desired ID list, select a new Chassis ID number.
- Click OK.
