Send Logs to the Call-Home Server

If a significant Oracle FS System event occurs, the system writes logs that contain information about the incident. Support administrators and administrators with Support role privileges can manually send the system log bundles to the Oracle server.

Prerequisite

Logged in to Oracle FS System Manager (GUI) using the Oracle Support role or the Support role.

Logs are generated by the system when a significant event occurs, or manually created by the administrator. Oracle Customer Support might request that you create a log bundle and send the bundle to Oracle for analysis. If you want to automatically send the logs to the Call‑Home server, select the Send to Call‑Home server option when you create the log bundle.
  1. Navigate to Support > System Logs.
  2. From the System Logs list, select a log bundle to send to the Call‑Home server.
  3. Select Actions > Send to > Call-Home Server.
  4. Click OK.
If Oracle Customer Support requested the log bundle, confirm that the file was received.
