You can verify the integrity of the RAID parity data that is maintained by the Oracle FS System software by running the data consistency test on a selected drive group. The Oracle FS System writes and maintains the parity data on various drives within a certain drive group. After replacing a drive in one of those drive groups, you might want to confirm that the parity data is consistent on that drive group.
- Navigate to .
- Select a drive group that you want to verify.
- Select .
- From the Verify Data Consistency dialog, specify how much I/O time to give to this operation.
Valid choices:
- High Priority
- Low Priority
Example: For example, if you specify High Priority, this operation could impact Drive Enclosure performance by up to 30%.
- To start the data verification, click OK.
After data verification completes, the results appear on the Data Consistency page. Use the refresh button (
) to update the page, if necessary. The system displays the date and time of the most recent integrity test results.
