Controller Network Requirements

For the Controllers to integrate successfully into a customer network, that network needs to be configured properly.

The data network to which the Controllers connect must use Fibre Channel data paths that are based on optical connections that are capable of 8 Gb/s or 16 Gb/s speeds. These connections can be single-mode or multi-mode.

You should specify the type of connection when you order your Oracle FS System. Contact your Oracle Account Representative if you need to change the type of physical connection.
