This graphic shows the following process:

  1. A Siebel CRM user updates an account for a customer.

  2. Siebel CRM sends the updated data to AIA.

  3. AIA updates the database with the new information and invokes a Siebel CRM web service to query the immediate account hierarchy and account details.

  4. Siebel CRM sends the requested information to AIA.

  5. Through several AIA services, a JMS topic, and an AIA consumer configured for a particular BRM instance, AIA calls the relevant opcode to make the required data changes in BRM.

  6. The opcode sends a response back to AIA.
