Password and System Editor Commands Overview

Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA installs with a command line interface (CLI) that provides commands that you use to configure and maintain the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA after installation.

You use these CLI commands to perform the following tasks:
Password Editor
The OFSVASAProviderPasswordEditorTool command is used to change the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA password. The OFSVASAProviderPasswordEditorTool command is not used to change the password for the Oracle FS System.
System Editor
The OFSVASASystemEditorTool command is used to add or modify account information, which includes user account and password information, for an Oracle FS System that you are monitoring with the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA. You can also change the communication timeout value between the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA and the Oracle FS System.
