VASA Provider software communicates over a secure port with the Oracle FS System Pilot. The host where VASA Provider is installed requires a TCP/IP connection for communication with the Oracle FS System.
For Oracle FS System to communicate with VASA Provider, an open communication path must exist to TCP port 8083. TCP port 8083 is open by default on the Oracle FS System Pilot.
Network firewalls can be running on the host or in the network between the host and the Oracle FS System Pilot. Firewall settings can block access to port 8083. Changes to the firewall settings can block a port that was previously open.
Verify that communication can occur between Oracle FS System and VASA Provider.
