When a new version of the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA software is available, you can update your version of the plug-in software.
- Prerequisite:
- When you update the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA software, all information is removed, including passwords and information on monitored Oracle FS System. If you update the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA software, make a note of the IP address or hostname, and the user account and password information for each Oracle FS System that was monitored.
When you update the software, all configuration information is lost. After you have installed the software, perform the configuration tasks as described in the installation process.
- Follow the instructions to remove the previous version of the Oracle FS Provider for VMware VASA software.
- Follow the instructions to download the update installation package from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) to download the software.
- Follow the instructions to install the software.
